In Dutchess residential district College there are several on campus facilities that are organism used by students every day. These facilities include the library which is situated on the 3rd floor of the Hudson building, The Math Center, The Student serve Building, a well renewed fitness eye primed(p) in Falcon Hall, and a writing center also located in Hudson Building. These facilities keep students both active in academics and as well as physically. Dutchess provides a lot of facilities to fasten students feel as comfortable as possible.
In CIS100, I have definet a lot from both presentations and teachings from various guests and Mr. Dewald. The topics that kindle me the most was when Mr. William Leo, an Assistant Director in Health IT- engineering science Solutions, with Community Health Care Associations of New York State(CHCANYS), a pencil lead Primary Care Associations(PCA) in the country came to talk rough the different areas in IT technology. Thus, the different job aspects one apprise gain from being a computer science or computer information system major. Bill Leo verbalise about how to be upright at job interviews and the very world in general.
He also touched on the point which helped me the most on how the IT world really whole shebang and how easy it is to make it up to where one really involves to be. some other topic of interest was when we went to the writing center in Hudson to learn and improve on our creative writing and grammar. The writing center gave me a ease on how to put essays in nightclub according to its type and also know when to start a new paragraph and use correct grammar in its essence.
however with the incredible topics thought in this course, CIS100 should also teach or share more on what specific jobs one apprise do with what type of degree and also how to get a better job with what one chooses.
