Summary In this article the writer closely examined the use of prayer and intelligence during Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This article was less of a look for approach but discussed the victorian way to use the deuce during a therapy session. It was also stated that tag oning scripture and prayer to Christian CBT has proven to be helpful if employ properly. In effectuate to implement scripture or prayer into a clients session, the healer must gain the permission of the proper authorities (client, p arnt, institution, etc). once permission is granted, the therapist should make sure that all sessions are light-emitting diode by the Holy Spirit to ensure that proper consolidation is going to take place. The author discussed two forms of integration in therapy, Implicit and Explicit. He described Implicit consolidation as the type of therapy you will get in a basic approach non using any spiritual teaches or theories. Explicit Integration deals directly with spiritual and spectral approaches and is understood by the client at the beginning of the early session.
During the use of Explicit Integration, there are also divergent levels at which the integration may or may not take place as well as how more than is needed. To understand this, the therapist will need to have their own connection with God and ask for guidance while being able to hear what God is saying. A few examples of sessions led by the author were given to show the reader how to add both prayer and scripture to a session correctly and what effects of doing so had on his client. Overall, the article showed that this approach to CBT is effective, if used correctly, and that the client should always be aware and in compact with use of approach.
