1. Research the following organizations and explain their involvement with the profit normal IP addresses.
a) American Registry for net profit Numbers. ARIN, founded in 1997, is a non-profit organization that registers and administers IP Numbers for North America, a designate of the Caribbean and sub-Saharan Africa. ARIN is one of four regional Internet registries. (Webopedia)
b) The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA), is responsible for the global coordination of the DNS Root, IP addressing, and other Internet protocol resources. A department of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Name and Number (ICANN) responsible for coordinate some of the key elements that keeps the Internet running smoothly. IANAs assorted activities can be broadly grouped in to trinity categories: Domain Names, Number resourcefulnesss, and Protocol Assignments. (IANA)
c) The Asia-Pacific Network Information concentrate on (APNIC) One of five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs), APNIC is an organization charged with ensuring the fair distribution and responsible management of IP addresses and think resources.
Also maintains the public APNIC Whois Database, manages Reverse DNS zone delegations and provides a Resource Certification service. [ (APNIC) ]
