In Chapter Three of Adult Development and Life Assessment, you take on about morality and values, which develop over time as we learn and reflect on what is objurgate or wrong. pedantic integrity is being honest and responsible in the academician realm. Consider the Chapter Three reading and respond to the prompts below:
fall upon a specific situation (academic or personal) in which you had to habit your moral judgment to make a finality.
Would you have do the same decision earlier in your life? wherefore or why not?
In your own words, tell apart what academic integrity is and why it is authorised for students at Ashford University to cover the highest of standards.
When I was in high school I had to phthisis moral judgment due to peer pressure, which I am sure most can relate to. There were the propagation where drugs were offered, the bad clicks to loaf involved in which I had to gradation up and say no to stay on the right path. I knew if I got with the wrong crowd my parents would stop back up out with the luxuries I had and start cracking down on me. Looking back I would make the same decision on staying on the right path and not go into the wrong crowd and addictive habits. My parents are a liberal part of my life so I did not allow them down.
According to Witt at this time I was following Kohlbergs idea of conventional morality by living up to the hopes my parents had for my future(2010).
To me, academic integrity means doing the best that you can do while staying honest in where your ideas came. I think it is important for students at Ashford to uphold the highest standards so when we complete our degree and range that diploma the credibility of accomplishment is held high in the look of our employers.
