The Brain Works Differently
Do you think there is a difference between a male capitulum as comp bed to a female judgement? If there ar any differences between the stars, what are they, good in the article A Mind of his own, author and neuropsychiatrys Louann Brizendine states that men and women act completely differently beca subroutine they are urged on by their hormones? She makes these saying in her book The Female brain and The Males Brain.
This article grabbed my eye beca part it had to do with the brain. Since we were studying the brain in class also, I thought it would be provoke to know more about the brain and what is going on in it. This article also intrigued me because we have just discussed about the brain a couple of days ago. Therefore, after talk of the town about the brain, I really wanted to know what make it do the things it did. The article talks about how Brizendine thinks our hormones make us do the things we do. For instance, in the article, it states middle-aged man who falls for a younger womenâ"Brizendine gives a theory for how her patients mien is caused by his male brain pattern, egged on by hormones (Bazelon, 2010).
I thought the article was truly intriguing. I loved how she tested to, prove that women speak faster than men do and use more words through the day. This claim stood apart from when a science paper stated that we use the same measuring rod of words---around 16,000 a day. Another part I found very interesting in the article was about mirror- neuron system and temporal-parietal junction system. It talked about how women use more MNS and men use more TPJ. This means that when it comes to problem solving men are busy working out the solution. On the other hand, women are more empathizers that are emotional and want to go more into the problem. I have to agree with Brizendine on this point.
