However, the DBMS (Database Management System) must periodically coordinate the scattered databases to make sure that they all have reliable information. End-users demand simultaneous access to numerous databases- all day, every day, and in every application. For Example, an organization may have a nationwide network of warehouses, each with its own database; a transaction can allow admittance to all databases using this type of database. Purchase transaction linking a merchant and a credit card corporation, each providing stored subroutines for its associated connections is another example of distributed databases. An external data range is data from a separate source, such as a Microsoft Access or SQL Server database, brought into Microsoft Excel.
