Genus species

Methods: In order to conduct our look into we started off with two petri dishes, six antibiotic drugs and two types of bacteria to overtake our experiment. The bacteria that were being used in this experiment were E. coli and S. Marscescens. The antibiotics that be being used to combat the bacteria are called Penicillin (1929), Streptomycin (1947), erythromycin (1952), Ampicillin (1961), Gentamicin (1971), and Ciprofloxin (1987). In the two petrib dish, each is independently chosen to be for E. coli and for S. Marscensen. At the bottom of the petri dishes we level it with intravenous feeding quadrants to make sure that each of the antibiotics were placed in the in force(p) quadrant and be able to see how the bacteria acted in respect to the placement of the antibiotic. One of the quadrants was kept as the harbor of the experiment. There were six antibiotic but each free radical mystify only three of the antibiotic for each bacteria. When placing the bacteria on the petri dish we used a pipette to obtain 100uL of the bacteria onto the petri dish. With a rod (spreader) that was dip in grain alcohol and then place under the busen burner in order to undermine it; we spread the bacteria on every surface compass of the petri dish.

We wanted approximately 10 minutes for the bacteria to dry off, before applying the antibiotics. The three antibiotics were place in the center of the quadrants and a control was also place in the fourth quadrants carefully. one time this was done we close the petri dish and sealed it with parafilm for more protective covering for the environment of the bacteria. The two petri dish that contained E. coli and S. Marscensen were placed upside vote out and allowed the growth of the bacteria to interact with the antibiotics for a week.
Results: The bacteria in the petri dish were left to grow for a week and in this process grew around the antibiotic depending on how effective the antibiotic was. As we know each antibiotic...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
